I have been busy moving my family and preparing to retire... Let's do it!

Aww, that's a better train! I tried to get near my engine... The sign behind my bike says something about Norfolk Southern Private Property

My first train pic on the way home was of some freight cars with graffiti all over them. Couldn't bear to post that so I followed the tracks about 10 more miles until I happened upon a freaking train museum with a bunch of engines and old time Santa Fe Railroad coaches. Place was closed for the day but talked to the night watchman and he told me about National Train Day and they were expecting a 1000 people to show up. I may go to it as they are opening up a bunch of coaches and engines to the public that are usually off limits. Your train post was very timely, heh.

Tag! Here's Shepherd University just down the street from me.

- Shepherd Sign.jpg (28.47 KiB) Viewed 1820 times
And a better view of the original building behind the sign. So, for the next tag, a bike in a cemetery. Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown is the final resting place for 252 Confederate soldiers, many of whom died during Lee's Maryland Campaign. Wounded Southerners were brought to Shepherdstown during the retreat, and those who died in hospitals there were buried in the local cemetery.

I could get interested in this game. I could get a pic of my Burgman in a cemetery, I'll try to do it soon. I ride mine to many cemeteries to take pictures, and usually have a camera with me.

I know where a civil war cemetery is nearby me. Don't make me go get it! Any cemetery will suffice, though. Right, paulcbrowne?

Would a picture at Costco count as a bike at a zoo?

Ask Siri... Seriously, although I haven't needed to do it yet I've thought about it. You can ask your smartphone or type it in the phone or computer. Water fountain in 'city, state', etc. Like Harley dealers, Zoos, Trains, Airplanes, Parks, you can find anything in a search engine if it doesn't pop in your head right off.
The fountain should be fairly easy. I've snapped a couple of other tags that I didn't post because they might be hard, but not all that difficult, to find in any state, or country.

Hah! I stopped on the way to church tonight and took a picture of the fountain in a local cemetary, then took a picture of the church. I was actually thinking of a prison, but I won't be there till Sunday night. Does the county jail count? BTW, was Johnny Cash there? Chris

I would think a jail should count. A place you sure don't want to spend a night or longer at. Was going to take a picture of the fountian at our church. Would that have counted as both.

I decided to go all the way. After all, if you ask the guys inside, a jail is not a close custody prison. So...here's the sign outside the Monroe Correctional Complex leading up to the Washington State Reformatory (WSR) and the Minimum Security Unit. There's actually 5 prisons within the Monroe Correctional Complex. And here's a picture of the outside of my church. You ought to be able to find a church in your area a lot easier than a prison for the next entry of the Tag-O-Rama! Chris
