Just take your scoot on a ship and ride around the decks until you get there Now that I've got my brain "working", another idea: Get a little paddle-wheel boat, hook up the rear wheel of the scooter to drive the paddle wheel, and off you go. Rube Goldberg, anyone?

I've ridden in Hawaii. Of course I was living there at the time.

A friend of mine had it, and at that time, he had most of the jewels in place. I have since learned he has ridden in all 48 lower states, but my friend is not online at all, and I don't have a phone number for him, so I can't find out where he got it.
Does anyone know where I can get one of those? I want to make it my goal to visit all 48 states (and maybe Alaska) sometime before I die.
Check some RV places. The one I have in my RV is a sticker, with sticker states to stick on.

No problem, here is a link but I'm sure you can find them cheaper than Camping World: http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/state-sticker-map/32508

The Camping World sticker is a nice idea, but at 20"x14", it's a bit large. I was looking for something that I could put in a prominent place on the dash or something. Small but noticeable.
Thanks

The Goldwing Tourers use this business. It has just what you described. I've used them twice now. We place a 'jewel' on the map when we've actually ridden in the state, not just from passing thru it. Your choice of how to decide when to place the 'jewels'. Clear nail polish works much better than super glue, to mount the jewels. ThEngraver #1 Greg & Joanne (561) 239 2307 (877) 306 8939 http://www.thengraver.com/index.php?opt ... e&Itemid=1They sell extra 'jewels' in case you forgot where you've stored the originals. Don't ask how I know!

Found what I was looking for: http://www.thengraver.com/index.php?pag ... &Itemid=26Comes with 48 clear "stones" and 1 red stone to indicate your home state.
