Excellent! Do you have more information of the semi-transparent stencil sheets? Thickness, type, anything, etc? What would happen if you didn't replace the colored underlay sheet? Any pics or video of the finished project lit up? http://burgmanusa.com/bkb/650+Instrumen ... ificationsI also wanted to note that for Executive owners, getting to the instrument cluster will be a little more involved since the power windscreen mechanism will need to be moved out of the way.

+1 Also, will the dash be a white background with black numericals if you leave the stock bulbs in?

Greets Kory, As far as pics go from finished projects here are two using the led lamps from my replacement lamp list Mitch made reference to, specifically the instrument cluster section, viewtopic.php?p=423155#p423155 -> Pics 1-> viewtopic.php?p=424550#p424550Pics 2-> viewtopic.php?p=425076#p425076As far as the underlays are concerned, I picked up the material to make them from Hobby Lobby, blank stencil sheets. Using the stock underlays as a template I cut new ones from the sheets and vinyl dyed one side of the new ones white so as to be as close to the optical properties of the old ones less the color of course.

Please know that all of your time, effort and expertise was/is greatly appreciated. I don't know why you chose me and my 650 but I am so grateful for your help. I'm trying to prepare my scooter and my mind for a long distance trip to at least as far as my hometown in LA in the southwest corner of the state. My presence in LA obviously puts us a lot closer in proximity. I've had to put my plans on hold because of my role now as caretaker for a recently diagnosed cancer patient and the fight has just begun. Thanks again Mitch. You are truly a person of great character. Lois aka LoJo

Hey Mitch, If you want sources for EL lighting components you can find them in a post on my modifications thread here -> viewtopic.php?p=450441#p450441 EL would eliminate the need to make another underlay. Though the Blue/green panels are white when off instead of pink with the white ones.
