I am a new member and enjoy the forums though haven't posted much as yet. I feel I shouldn't post until I've "Paid my Dues" I wish to make a contribution but do not subscribe to PayPal. Are there other ways to subscribe ?

Thank you for the information John K and thanks also Debbie for the invitation to metaphorically '"Just get it off my chest". I will get on with it. Denny

Oh, my good sir, thou errest in thine speech. This is the web site of all those who worship at the seat of the Burg, hence the name Burgmen (or Burgpersons for the liberal wing). I have dropped my $100 in the offering plate and hope to have a long enough lifetime to average it out to under $2/year (and I'm already above the 50 mark). :alien:

Usually it's not long, but depending on Greengooses' work schedule it may take longer. If you don't see it in a couple of days then PM him. Hopefully you included your desires and the BUSA account name for him to credit the right account?

This Long. I took 3 days off from the forums for Easter/ B-day for my 2 Yr old. Normally I take care of memberships during the day while at work or just after I get home from work. With a full time 55 hr per week job and 4 little boys, I usually get to the memberships within 3 days.

Hey admin folks
I got my membership but used the wrong email. I know my paypal/CC stuff went thru, but want to make sure that it fully made the gamet to BUSA. I used an old email address, and updated right after I "subscribed"/
the site rocks, I just want to make sure of 2 things.
1) the money got to the right people 2) the Burgy symbol gets in my title.
Please let me know...will upgrade to the highest level of membership soon
Thanks again for all your helo and this site...PM may be the best way for us to communicate,,,
thanks

Any new news on what features are offered with which levels? The free three month trial period to test those as yet undefined features is up next week, so I thought I'd ask. Meanwhile, I'm still doing my monthly donations, letting them build up so I can make the final donation to the next level before the August 1st deadline. Thanks, Steve

Just wondering if Bryan is back on board. I hope the kids are OK! Just how long should I expect to wait for my membership icon to be added. With only 4% of the thousands of users bellying up, I am hoping the peer pressure will encourage more to join at some level.
Thanks.

I was just going to mention to Bill that I am going to delay the May 1st date for a number of reasons.
Family issues are better now. I also received a few PMs / Emails from a few members asking if I could give them time for their "Rebate" checks that are coming in May.
To make it easier on everyone, I am going to delay the "tiers" until the end of May.
I will update the membership page later to reflect the changes.

I still have a few donations that havent matched up yet with names. Check your email that was attached to your paypal account. Thats where I send the request to. If you purchased one in the past 72 hrs, you can expect an email today asking for your forum user name. -Bryan

Hey Bryan, Hope this note finds you in good health if not good cheer. I'm sure Wes passing away was a bummer for you. He will be missed. I wrote to you some time ago (just prior to your being posted in the "sand pit" You said you couldn't make the change then, but possibly later. I have been listed under Starrr........my wifes name. Actually, it's Starr, but what's an extra r or two. At any rate, I would really appreciate it if I could be listed under my name...Scott (but still keep my old registration date. Thank you for considering this matter, and for serving your country (been there, done that) Scott

Fellow Burgman Riders I donate d $25 today to help support this great site
I just bought my first burgman (2003 650). I have ridden suzuki's in the in the past but after a 20 year break I am excited to be riding again. I am looking forward to some nice long weekend rides in the Wisconsin, Illinois and Mid-west.
I hope I can pick your brains about Burgmans and maintenance and other accesories to one must have for Burgmans..
Happy trails

lrmiller01: Welcome to BUSA.
As for brain picking, there's a lot of knowledge here in the various posts about maintenance and quirks of the AN650 and other scoots. If you plan on doing your own maintenance, I'd advise to get yourself the shop manual, it will prove invaluable. The "How To" forum has excellent info on various maintenance that is easily done. Don't skimp on tool quality and get yourself a decent 3/8" drive torque wrench that has a lower setting of 10 ft-lbs. Don't go for the "needle" type as it is not accurate enough.
Have fun and be safe

You paid by e-check on the 12th. It didnt clear until the 18th. I sent an email to you on 19 June asking you for your forum user name. I was able to match you up by the information you provided in your recent PM to me. What does it cost to join BUSA at all different levels ? I haven't seen any rates for membership anywhere, however I was without a computer for several months there, & missed many posts.
