Basic gallery usage tutorial

Postby billmeek » Thu Mar 16, 2006 2:08 02

I've created a basic gallery usage tutorial screencast. It's 8 minutes and 30 seconds long, just over 3 meg in file size, and it uses Macromedia Flash. It might be useful for those of you that are not sure about how to use the gallery software.

Nope. Was trying out Camtasia Studio 3 and thought that was something that might be useful. If I get the cash together to purchase it, I'll redo the tutorial for the new version of gallery and a few other items that might help new forum members.

I still get the exact same thing I always get. I've post pictures before. I don't understand step by step what to do to post pictures. I click on Basic Gallery Usage Tutorial-then this comes up: The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player. Please update your version of this free player by downloading here.
I click on it to download-then Adobe Flash Player Download Center
Windows
comes up. I click on Download Now
It downloads-there is nowhere to click anything after that. Please explain what to do. JC

JC,

The install program has been downloaded but not installed. To find the install program:

Click the start button, search, and in the search window click 'all files and folders'. For the search criteria, put install_flash_player in the filename textbox then click search. Once search has found the install program, double-click it and follow the onscreen instructions.

The BurgmanUSA Tutorials has a new tutorial on using bbCode that covers (among other things) posting images inline and creating thumbnails for your images.

Bill, thanks a ton for preparing the tutuorials. They have helped greatly. I wanted to get some pics up and show off my Burgie like the others but just didn't know what to do.

You solved all that and now I feel much more a part of the family of Burgman owners.
