The best headlight modulator?

Postby krishna » Sun Apr 02, 2006 8:31 08

Hi there, I know this item has been talked about often but there a some specific questions that I would like clarified...

I think anything that makes my burger king more visible to others is certainly good.

Which is the best headlight modulator for the Burgman?
Which one is the easyest to install?
Best bang for the buck?

How about a stoplight modulator?
Can one install a stoplight modulator on a GIVI V46 top case?

I think that the Kisan modulator is the best for one reason: ease of install. Just plug and play and off you go. I have used it on both a Burgman 400 and 650 with GREAT results. I have had people flash their lights and others pull off the road thinking I was LEO, just letting me know, you know what? these things are working and if these people saw them, then others who were potentialy not going to see me were now going to see me , avoiding a potential conflict. I will really never know how many "jams" my modulator got me out of. But I KNOW that it keep me SAFER!!!
Regards :D

How do you install the daylight sensor?

Postby krishna » Mon Apr 03, 2006 10:15 10

Thanks,
I like the Kisan although I don't like the price. The user friendliness may be worth it. One still needs to drill a hole and install the daylight sensor somewhere. How hard is that?

No hole drilling is required. The light sensor comes up through the handlebars and with small (underline small) cable ties, sits right next to the right side brake line and underneath the handlebar covers. You can not see it sitting on the bike but it is there doing it's job making sure there is daylight out to do it's "flashy thing". Easy to set up.
