Nice video! I sent in query in to burgmanseats to see what we can work out for our bikes. My old back side could use a bit more cushion.

Ben,

It was the second seat I made for him. Did one last summer after his surgery. When we did the seat cover, it just worked out better to do the new seat before hand. I wished we had the day to go riding, but I had to head home shortly after. I had no idea he was recording when he pulled up. My wife and I were laughing so hard. Of course at the end he took a picture and I had my hoodie on, not the polo shirt underneath.

I wish I could deliver seats to everyone. It's great to get out and meet everyone.

Glad we talked, hope we can get your seat taken care of before the summer comes.
Cary

Hello ---- I gather from your reply to Ben last week that you do custom or modified seats for Burgman? At 5'0" I'm in need of either modifying my 650 to fit me or selling it. I purchased it NEW in November from a dealer where I could sit on it in the showroom only, no trial run. Once you're out the door -- It's Yours! Within 3 miles I was hit by a gal running a red light which totaled the bike and fractured my ankle. It drove like a dream and two weeks later they delivered another new one, now with 31 miles. Despite thicker soles on my boots, I still think I would ride more safely if I could either lower the bike an inch or lower the seat and handlebar. Do you have any thoughts on this? I'm just north of Dayton! Thank You for your Reply! :) Barbara

Possibly a little foam could be trimmed off the seat to reduce the height w/o sacrificing comfort. Also, you can trim the sides of the front horn allowing your legs to hang down straighter. Very short inseams are why most women prefer the 400 to the 650, along with the lighter weight to handle.

John,

That is exactly what I will be doing for her. I normally build them up, so we will see how she likes it. The great part is that she lives close by and can just stop by. And from my conversation with her, she has a 400 and a Honda Helix to go with her new 650.
