Saw a scoot today which has me intrigued. I can’t remember the make (wish I could), but it had a low seat height of approx. 23” and a long wheel base of 7” more than my Burgman. What are the pros and cons of a scoot with this kind of dimension? By the way, it was a 250 CC.
Thanks for your thoughts.

It sounds like the Honda Helix (or a clone), ...or the Yamaha Morphous. Chris

Pro = Both are reputable very reliable scooters,
Con = The seat height is a little too low for my liking, I personally like to be higher up so I'm seen by other drivers.

It is indeed a Morphus. 2006, 5000 miles. Very nice.

You should probably find a forum dedicated to Morphous owners to get some really good info on them. I thought about one for a short time, but they were too expensive at the time. My general impression is that owners liked them. They just didn't sell well and have been discontinued.
That would be the biggest "con" of owning one. Whereas the Helix was in production (and virtually unchanged) for many years, the Morphous wasn't. Parts would be the biggest issue in my mind. Also, just finding other people who have had one to give you advice, if you did your own maintenance.

Solano Cycle here in Saint Augustine has two of the CFMoto Fashion 250's they can't give away, last I knew they had them down to $1,999...

I remember seeing both for sale when I was looking for my Maxi scooter. I decided that they were just to ugly. I'll take my sleeker Burgie any day.
