http://bikescreen.com/ has a 24" windscreen. Do a search for Morphous and you will find a Yamaha Morphous 250 `06 Super G-Force 24" Tall windscreen available.
You may also want to join the Morphous Yahoo Group to view some of the accessories people are buying.

The Galaxy Blue Morphous with GPS would be mine.

Rented one today and I really loved it overall. Had a real low center of gravity, great on the turns. I'm still a bit timid about the real winding turns on the freeway at 60mph, but that's just because of my abilities, not the bike. At 70mph, though, it is REAL obvious that a windshield is needed! The only other real disappointment, though, is the cargo space. Other than that, it's got great takeoff and even top end (for a 250).

I saw a big blue morpheous in the cycle parking area I park in yesterday. Reminded me of a dolphin.

Ok. I admit, that I used to think the Morpheus was ugly just from seeing pictures of one. That's not really fair.
However they're just as ugly in person.

Not true. They look far worse in person. You really can't get a sense of how long they are from the picture.

Well, let's go to the other end...
I think that the Reflex looks out of proportion. (Sorry reflex owners) - it just doesn't have the wheelbase or size that I personally like to see. To me it looks like Honda put a 400cc scoot in a food shrinkwrap vacuum processor and shunk down to 2/3rd scale.
"Honey, I've shrunk the scooter!"
Looked like a sidewalk pocket bike. Yeah that's it.
A few months ago I pulled up beside a Reflex and it looked like a Honda Spree or Yamaha Riva or something...I think the Helix is much nicer and bigger looking than the Reflex..
I like the long low looks of the Morph. At least it proports it's dimentions. There is no mistaking it for anything else.
To each their own 'eh?

Pete Common sense ain't that common. Moonpie (K4 650) - gone but never forgotten. Jaws (DL1000) V-Strom - sold :( Moonpie II (K4 400) - sold :( Caretaker of a Helix :-) Moonpie III (K8 Exec) - sold :( Helmet-Cracker DR-Z 400S - sold :( Honda Transalp :-) Petes Pix!

Ok. I admit it. You're right.
And it has a really ugly dash too.

I know this is an old thread and I un-fairly made fun of the little Morphous. Sorry! Who knew back in 2006 I would actually buy one some day. Actually yesterday! Now they're almost a modern collectible. Smooth and Amazingly well built but I still think they look like a snowmobile. I thrive on the unusual.

Congratulations! I've always been a big fan, once I found out you can easily put a Majesty engine in it I really wanted one. Another scooter we will never see on the same lines the Suzuki Gemma. http://www.twowheelsblog.com/post/1132/ ... zuki-gemma

I recently saw one for sale and I have to admit- while odd looking - these are really comfortable for taller riders. I used to ride a cruiser so the low laid back style I like. Looking for a scoot for my tall wife and she kinda likes it too- does anyone know the reliability of these? Hard to find useful discussion- lot of the Morphous boards have closed down in the US- the Yahoo group is no substitute for a forum, I see more constructive discussion on the ADVenture rider forum than the Majesty USA forum about this bike... any thoughts/impressions/rumors would be appreciated- really kinda hooked on this thing as a 2nd scoot for our family- but I don't want to by some lemon either.

A friend of mine has one. He has put a lot of miles (guess 30-40K, maybe more) on it. He really likes it and he has owned a lot of scooters. He has had a few of issues with it. A bad front brake disk was fixed under warranty. The others, I do not remember, but nothing major. Check on after market windshield availability, if you are going to use one.

Rode with one in a rally a couple of weeks ago, young couple riding two-up on it. The thing I (and probably everyone else) missed at the time is that they look better in motion with a rider aboard than sitting unattended. The design looks "wrong" until you see it in use. And the Majesty's powertrain is a drop-in fit? Nice!

You may have seen this video already. 1/2 the bikes are Morphous (Maxam in Japan) and the other 1/2 are modded Majesty. It was this video that made me look more into the Morphous- they appear to be a very relaxed ride and perfect sized for both men and women to ride easily. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljiBk7_XLPA&feature=relatedMy other concern is if I get my wife interested in this bike- I may want to ride it just as much as the Burgman! Really wonder how capable it is when it's not in the straightaways...

Came across this older Morphous thread and had to comment. I owned two Burgmans, a 400 and 650 exec - both at the top of my scooter/owned list for power, top speed and comfort. Currently I own a Helix and recently purchased a Morphous. Granted, the Helix beats the Morphous in storage and weather protection, sans the exposed right foot but the Morphous has the top speed, road manners and feeling of stability on high speed 2 & 4 lane roads - by far. Top speed 80 mph (Morphous) vs. 65 mph (Helix). Both are bulletproof, easy to maintain and the Morphous is much more stable in crosswinds, particularly behind large trucks.
Yamaha sent just 1,700 Morphous' to the USA between 2006 and 2008. Trying to find one on the used market is almost impossible and when one is available the owner wants an outrageous price. For example, '08's are bringing north or $4k and ones with a lot of miles, meaning 30K or more, are asking $3200 - $3500. Maybe Yamaha missed the original market but they sure created a secondary one!
The Gemma (Morphous) outsells all other scooters in its class in the far east and Yamaha has difficulty keeping up with demand. Obviously they're doing something correctly.
I'll keep both the Helix and Morphous and if the time and price are right - acquire a Burgman.

This June I passed on one for sale at a used-bike emporium...$2495.
I had bought a new Chinese Burgman clone from them...and then it did what Chinese scoots are known to do, self-destruct.
It went in for warranty...this place was briefly a Xingyue dealer; they gave that up. For obvious reasons; but they did take the bike back on warranty.
It's on their bench still...they apparently cannot get parts. I'm debating legal action...another story.
But...they had that Morphous on the floor. LIKE NEW - 3000 miles. I was trying to sell them on the idea of buying their ChiJunk back for a thousand credit on a trade...make the deal and you can throw that thing away and not spend the time on it.
They wouldn't budge. I thought I'd have time; but it disappeared from inventory. Probably wholesaled out.

Scootin56, you said you sometimes like 'different'. I think we all do, or we all think outside the box to own a $4 to $8 k moped. I'm going to go for a ride now!

Although I understand that this is an older thread I want to reply to those who saw, sat on or otherwise made uninformed comments regarding the Yamaha Morphous. Each of us rides what we want to ride, as it should be, but none of us should disparage what others ride. That's common sense and respect.
Fortunately or unfortunately, depending whether you're a seller or buyer, Yamaha eliminated the Morphous from their USA product line in 2008 and that created a curious market in 2012. The Morphous is bringing a premium in the secondary market (try buying one let alone finding one). Immediately following the end of the Morphous in the US the market was soft but now the reverse has occurred. These scoots are commanding and getting a healthy dollar because they are different - and scarce.
Forget the ugly/pretty discussion and look at the Morphous for what it really is and IMHO that's a strong, reliable runner with a certain cache that appeals to both its riders and the secondary market sellers.

Absolutely. The Morph is impressive. I haven't seen one in person yet; they are pretty rare. There is a fellow near Memphis who has been trying to sell one for quite some time, asking $3k (2008 model.) Not many buyers right now.
