Important thing on mirrors is how they function, not how they look.
CB750 Honda mirrors work.....but not as good as OEM----Honda SilverWing mirors would work, too. But why?

Hi cindi110, There are lots of other folks who don't care for the look of the stock mirrors. Here's a thread with lots of alternative choices. http://www.burgmanusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=56785As for me, I really didn't care for them at first, but have come to enjoy their retro look. They remind me of my first bike, a Honda CB 360 that I got (used) for my 42nd birthday. Steve

Must admit they do look out of place, 1970 mirror on a 2010 scooter, but they do work well for me at least.

Also to think about: I found these mirror risers improve the field of view to the sides and directly behind. (I see the road rather than my shoulders.) http://www.ebay.com/itm/300441994888?ss ... 5448wt_916

My response to this-----when you gain some 2 wheel experience, like 200,000 miles or so you may find function on mirrors is what saves you.. Suzuki put a lot of thought into the OEM mirrors. The OEM provide pretty clear rear vision over a broad range of speeds and conditions. Head checks also help.

I must say, when I first saw the mirrors in pictures I wasn't all that impressed. They looked cheesy. However, they look much better in person. More heavy duty looking. I plan on keeping them. Oh, did I mention they work well too. Sube

jeez folks, the guy just wants to change the style of his mirrors.....lighten up !
i swapped my mirrors out the other day with some all black models, thay still have a square type housing but the color blends better with the bike IMO. i got them at my local dealership for 18 bucks each. geat deal.
i personally am a the type that will make my bike unique to me, i love to mod everything i have, its just the way i am. and mirrors are a great way to start out !

I had a set of these on my Triumph Street Triple, and on my Rocket 3 Roadster: http://www.motostrano.com/Rizoma-Mirrors-s/2307.htmItalian, and very stylish. Very expensive too.. The Prada of the mirror world. But, I believe that people have all the options, rather than just cheapie high street vendors.

Seriously these mirrors are a JOKE they're a pain to adjust (let me get a wrench out of my toolkit to make a minor adjustment- oh I have to move my body to tighten- so now my field of view is different...) it's a 2 person job for crying out loud. While they don't vibrate much (impressive) I would have liked them mounted to the fairing Tmax style as having them more forward and higher would be ideal for me. Regardless- these are frankly the ugliest mirrors on any bike I've owned.
I swore I'd have them changed by now... lol.
Needless to say- I feel your pain.

The only thing I find with the standard mirrors is they are too long, and I kept whacking vans mirrors when filtering, so I simply turned the through 90 degrees, I did not like the fact the numbers etc stamped on them now is on the outside, but hey, I got used to that very quickly and find I have not whacked them at all since. Many other bikers have said chrome mirrors do look a bit odd on a bike where everything is black.
