What are the best lighting kits available?

Postby BJammin222 » Wed Oct 20, 2010 17:42 17

My red '07 Exec's former owner added a bunch of lighting to the bike. It has Moto lights, a Back Off LED lighted Tag bracket with running, turn and brake lights and a Wig Wag Brake light module as well as mirror mounted running lights and turn signals.

I'm now planning to add Givi side bags (either E41 or E45) and a top case (probably E55 Maxia) and wanted to ask the group what side bag and top case lighting options anyone might recommend.

I was picturing a kit that would add attractive rear lights to the bags and top case that would be on when the bike's (rear?) lights are on, and then light up more brightly when I brake. But maybe I'm just dreaming.

Really appreciate the group's input.

Cheers from SoCal (LA and OC),
Ben

I added the Admore light kit to my E55 trunk. The Givi wiring just did not hold up, plus I wanted the running lights and signal light as well. After installing the lights, I noticed only three of the LEDs lit up on the brake lights and running lights on the right side, though all the lights lit up for the blinker. Not sure what I did while installing (I checked them before the installation and they were fine). Contacted Admore and asked if there was anything I could do and there response was more or less (in my own words) we told you to be careful, but in the next line they said they would replace the LEDs for the right side free of charge. I was amazed - they certainly were not under any obligation to replace the lights, I would have been happy if I just could have purchased the right side lights without having to re-purchase the entire set. The replacement lights arrived in the mail today! I could not be more pleased with the lights and the caring professional service from Admore. DW

I used the Admore lighting on my e360 side cases, on my Burgman E650. They have held up well for the last year, 13000 miles. The only problem is the left side where the gas filler door is located. You have to disconnect the light each time to fill up. the connection can be temperamental sometimes.
Over all, I give the product 2 thumbs up.
