Sadly, we won't get any reports from Germany where they're made, because they have very strict regulations on MC-tires, and must use the exact type and size stated in the type approval document. In some instances even the brand of tire is stated, and you can guess what that does to the pricing of "approved" tires.

When a bike has been on the market for some time, more tires will appear on the importer's "released" list (My guess is when the tire manufacturer has paid the "inspection fee" to the bike importer.

Germanys TÜV program is strict beyond belief. In the late 80's-90's I had part ownership in a roll shutter manufacturing company, in Heimsheim outside of Stuttgart. One of my jobs was to keep all the vechiles running. I had done some modifications to 10 of our Golf Deisel and VW Transporter trucks that added over 25 % better fuel range. But they would not pass TÜV. It was easy to take the mod's off, pass TÜV and reinstall. But if one of them were to be involved in an accedent and the inspector looked under the hood, it could have been deemed "Not Covered" by the vechile insurance.

The mods were timing adjustments, Turbo mods, Intercoolers, propane injection and a few others.
