Note: Shallow scratches on the lower bottom. Those scratches were resulted from a partial spill while I was doing a slow u-turn practice on a parking lot on the first day of my ride. During its fall, I was holding the handle bar with my legs firmly on the ground so it barely touched the ground. It was not a free fall. Photos are available upon request.
I am riding with other BUSA members lately (visit Rallies and Gatherings forum and read “S. Cal ride to Julian on Jan 28 2006”). During the ride to Julian, my burg had no problem keeping up with other 650cc burgs.
It runs excellent for the last 2000 miles since the mishap.
Take a test ride and you will know it is a fine machine..

My wife wants to sit on the passenger seat. For that, the 650 would be better.
