Radiantz 10 LED Flexible Array

Postby happytech » Sat Jan 09, 2010 22:44 22

Tried to install this today for use as a third brake light.

1. Flexible - not a bit - stiff as a metal rod
2. Wouldn't adhear to the tupperware - yes, it was cleaned and ever so slightly curved (thus the purchase of something "flexible")
3. Broke apart - not very sturdy
4. For the above problems, way overpriced - for a 2.125 inch strip it cost me $24.95 - pretty is nice, but not working correctly doesn't make it a bargain

Conclusion - do not waste your time or money to order these - IMHO, a waste of money.

http://www.radiantz.com/cart/index1.html?c6.html&1 - select 1mm flexible arrays and it's about half-way down

I've got to call the vendor (Biker Highway) Monday to see if they'll honor their satisfaction guarantee. Will report back in this thread later as to what happens. Right now, I've got a light that came apart and can't be fixed.

I've ordered another product from superbrights - not near as pretty, and a bit longer than I want, but we'll see how it works. I think I can shorten it, and it was about half the price and 9+ inches long.
I’m not afraid to go fast – it’s the crashing and burning that scares me.

Actually, I'm too cheap to go too fast. Have you seen the price of gas lately?

It's SO time for another long road trip!!!
