Received my Trinity Trike (thetrinitytrike.com) from Hudson, Florida about the last week of August, 2009 and have put 1,000+ miles on it as of September 15. To say I'm happy with it would be an understatement. Fit, finish and quality are high. Ride is super. Bike tracks true with no pull or any other negatives. I had looked at Danson and Tow-pac and I'm really glad I waited for the Trinity true trike. It is way beyond these and no more MC tire to wear out so often. I believe that the car tires will dry rot long before they wear out. To be very conservative, tires in back should exceed 50,000 miles. Can't say what the tire in front will do, but maybe we need a "darkside blog" for front tires. It will be pleasant if there is an improvement in this mileage too.
In this first 1000 miles, half was 2 up, well exceeding maximum load. It ran like it was made for the load. We reached 78 (true) mph with no strain. We would have gone faster, but am still under break-in mileage. It goes straight down the road with only noise that coming the original Burgman 650. You wouldn't even know it had 3 wheels, except for lack of lean and you don't fall over if you stop and forget to put down your feet. To anybody considering any sort of trike or sidecar, you will go slower in the twisties, but the Trinity has to be the best of all 3 wheel mods. In every other aspect the ride is great.
I understand that this mod weights less than 100 pounds. This seems light, but is due to the aircraft grade aluminum used for almost everything. The workmanship is superb, and the welding on the axles is a work of art. There was no CFO telling the engineers to make it cheaper, just Richard, who is a real rocket scientist picking out the best materials and way over engineering it.
If you're getting up there in age or legs aren't as good as they used to be, don't give up the ride, but look into triking it. It's still lots of fun. Go to their site and look at the Burgmans under "CTV cruisers". Mine is the white one in their pictures.

I paid about $6500 installed out the door. If you are very handy with your hands, it can be done for less at you site. Yes it does cost more than Danson and Tow-Pac, but it is worth every penny you spend.
