F1 WARNING LIGHT

Hi all can anyone tell me how to get round the F1 warning light the light stays on all the time but the bike runs fine i have been told i can disconnect something but i don't know what any help much appreciated

Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes will reset the FI.
If you do have a problem it should come back on again.
It may take a short ride for it to recalibrate itself.

The F1 light is telling you the computer is detecting a problem in one of the systems. If you turn it off and don't fix the problem it will just come back on as soon as the computer finds the problem again.

You can get a switch from Suzuki that you can plug into a plug under the left front side of the seat that will flash the trouble code on you dash so you can look up what the problem is. If you don't want to buy the switch you can just short between 2 of the pins on the plug and get the same results.

This thread will tell you how to jump the plug to put the computer in analysis mode to get the trouble code.

The problem juuuust MIGHT be coroded battery terminals .... I caught mine just in time.
