Will:

This ride is becomming one of the largest scooter rallys on the East Coast and I can see why, given the scenery and "Home-Town" Food. I highly recommend this weekend event.

Just keep the chef (Delburg) supplied with beer on Friday night and all riders are guaranteed good eats. You might have to teach him how to use the "New" New Hollander's grill - he almost burned my house down on the Friday the night BBQ (Hawks Nest ride - Kidding Jim - great job).

Anyhow, this is an event not to be missed. I might add that from past experience, Motels sell out quick for this ride. BOOK EARLY.

Will, barring any unforeseen circumstances over the next month, I will definitely attend.

I will likely travel to New Holland via the Allegheny Mountains (you know what I mean) where I will meet up with another rider (hopefully).

GOOD LUCK ON THIS RIDE AND SEE YOU IN SEPTEMBER MY FRIEND,

Vince

You are the best! Just kidding about the house. Folks, Jim's ribs will make your mouth water. I got nothing but compliments on Jim's BBQ.

Hey Jimbo, if I can sqeeze in the time, I just might travel from the Allegheny mountains to your neck of the woods (Delaware) then on up to New Holland.

By the way, mailed your hat. You should recive it in a couple of days.

Hey Jimbo, I called you back. Where were you.

O.K. Guys:

Room is booked at the Hollander for Friday and Saturday night. Nearest room I could get to my buddies Greg, Margie, Jim and Deb is room 208 (up-hill from the last couple of years).

Deb, are you actually going to ride with that sad sack husband of yours - kidding. You could not be in better hands.

I will be traveling out to the Allegheny mountains (about 250 miles) to pick up my best gal rider BJ in St. Mary's then heading back East to New Holland, PA.

Willing to meet up with other riders along the way Eastward to New Holland. THE MORE THE MERRIER! Email me at eastcoastlosscontrol@verizon.net

Think folks traveling from Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Erie and Ohio or other points west will work for a great meet up. I am flexible to meet up times so long as we get to New Holland on Friday evening. Hell, this is fun.

Jimbo, if we get there a little late, hold 15 pounds of those great ribs (and a case of beer). Will be mighty hungry and mighty thirsty.

Let's see how many riders we can put together from points west of New Holland. Sounds like a Blast to me.

Vince

P.S. Say a prayer for BJ. She emailed me today and says she is booking her written motorcycle test and actually road a 90cc dirt bike today for practice (not on a public road thank gosh). She said it was too small. BJ is prid near 6' tall. BJ, we all are rooting for you. Go for it Gal!!

Hey Mike:

Everyone missed Sandra last ride. You guys ride two up in "perfect harmony".

Hoping you guys could have made it to my neck of the woods for the Hawks Nest ride this year. Oh well. There is always next year.

Looking forward to riding with you again.

Still can't figure how you get all those great prizes for the Saturday night raffle.

More importantly, can't figure out how you keep down seven plates of stacked bacon, sausage, eggs, homefries, bread, butter, omlets, pancakes, waffles and whatever else you can scoff off the buffet. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

This is EAGLE country and you might have a problem if you wear anything with a STEELERS logo. If you keep a low profile you will be OK.

The Laurel Highlands are the mountain ridge running north-south from about New Stanton to Uniontown. We'll be coming from Pittsburgh on part of the Turnpike (ack!), then grabbing Route 30 at some point. Feel free to email me at tjcjohnson@gmail.com to get ourselves coordinated.

Looking forward to it!

Will:

Jim's 650 is in the shop and no solution as yet to the cooling fan problem.

Jim is certified in auto electrical systems. He called me tonight and while on the phone, I pulled the fan fuse with the key on and there was no voltage reading across the fuse polls. The dealer told him as much but he wanted to check it out.

Our consenses is that the Fuse circuit remains dormant until and unless the fan is running. That is,the circuit is desinged to protect a "running" fan from overheating. Thus, the fuse is on a secondary fan circuit and remains dormant until is is called into service (fan running).

With Jim's permission. Any Ideas? We gotta get Jim to New Holland in September to do the BBQ.
