Postby rocketman » Mon Dec 29, 2003 17:26 17

Hi ladies & Gents

Steve here from England just wondered if anyone from this forum has heard of or wears these jeans.I believe they originate from down under, but have branches worldwide. http://www.dragginjeans.com
A thread has been started on our scooter forum about this subject http://www.x9ownersclub.co.uk
I have just heard of another company over here that does the Demin jeans with the kevlar linning http://www.hoodjeans.co.uk

Are they as warm as the website says?
Are they as tough as the website says?
Will they stop the road surface ripping the skin off your legs
I have got myself a pair, but have not had a chance to wear them yet,i would just like to other peoples views,

Regards

Steve

I use mine all the time, sometimes even under a Darien overpants from Aerostitch. So far I have avoided a dreaded "test session" but they seem protective and unobtrusive.

I know some people who have it and are pretty happy with it too.

Icon Gear also makes a pair of thick, bike-use denims ... a whole lot better than regular jeans!
