Hi, Steve.
I posted to you on the Maxi-Scoots forum but I don't know how often you visit there, so I'll copy it here.
I hope all is well with you and I'm looking forward to seeing you again in September, this time in Upstate New York.
I'm thinking of getting myself a new camera and want to ask your advice. I am not a photographer, nor do I plan to become one, but my Sony Cyber-shot, as reliable as it is, has limitations. I've been messing with my wife's Nikon D3300 a bit and I like a lot of the incremental features it has, although it's larger than something I'd want to take on the road with me (say, on a scooter trip.)
I seem to recall that you were using what appeared to be a compact DSLR last September, and your photos are mighty fine. Can you tell me what you were using? Alternatively, can you recommend a lower range compact DSLR (are these what they call "mirrorless?") camera?
Cheers,
JD
