I really don't have any problem with my knees when riding the scooter. At first is seemed strange, but I very quickly got used to it. After a short while it was quite natural and comfortable. So I've been riding the B400 now for over 3 years and I feel like I really made the right choice when I bought it. It suits me perfectly. Sometimes I wish for more power, but I cringe at the B650's complex CVT, so I stay comfortable with my 400, realizing that it has enough power for what I need, and it keeps me out of trouble.
Since you have had a # of motorcycles in the past I thought I'd sak you: When riding a scooter is there any insecurity, or feeling of, because your knees have nothing to grab? I started riding in 1964 and I'm ready to give up my FJR for a Burgman 400.
