Thought you might get a kick out of this.

Costs the price of a burger, and less likely to discount, but made in USA and electric....If I had the garage space & $$ kicking around for that I'd consider one of their other units for knocking around town or my (up 99) commute

Dave, did extending the rubber bulb farther into the handlebar work?

Hi Dave. I just came across a reference to a post you done re fixing the handle bar weight problem. I then found a post (Jan.-13-2015) of yours that indicated a link to follow to get info on your mod for the bar weights. When I clicked on the link all I saw were several other post by other people indicating how they solved this issue. Can you perhaps point me in the right direction to find your detailed bar weight modification post. Thanks. DJJC

Dave, I apologize for sending you a message but saw a post of yours earlier recommending a back rest for the 650 Burgman and can't locate the post or the manufacturer. Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Wayne

Hey Dave. Thanks for pointing me to a passenger backrest for my k5 650.
Do you happen to have the three bolts that hole it in place?

Hi Dave. Hope the splicing job is winding down and you pocketed lots of overtime.

I came up with 5 items that must be replaced after my crash, 3 of which are safety issues imho: (1) left (rear) brake lever, (2) left turn-signal lens in mirror, and (3) handlebar. I also want to replace the 2 brackets on the left side that hold the foot board. I think I dodged a bullet, I bent those brackets but not the frame.

I think I can salvage almost all the tupperware and I'm thinking of repainting it while the bike is down. The two pieces that are too sad to save are the left leg side shield (the lowest one, with the foam insulation) and the dark-gray footboard itself. I could possibly repair it but it's really abraded at the pillion footrest.

I think I bent the center stand so it would be nice to replace it with the newer stronger one. Also trashed my left Manic Salamander bar-end weight.

How many of these pieces would you like to sell me? Thanks.

Hi Dave, I have just come across a post from yourself re the Darkside, If I go that way, Will I notice the handleing change much? (this bit is meant as humour. Is the fact that you are ex Army meant to add to your credability?)
