A question for Quantum Mechanic

QM, you appear to be the best source of oil and engine break-in info so I hope you do not mind me asking you this question.

I purchased my 2012 400 with 9,000 miles on it. The 1st service was completed at 785 miles. I do not know what oil was used at this change. At 3,200 miles the owner added 200 ml oil. At 4,320 miles the previous owner's dealer changed oil with full synthetic. At 7,700 the owner added 240ml oil to bring it back to the full mark. The oil was most recently changed at 8,875 miles with full synthetic just before I purchased it.

Over the 3,000 miles I have put on the bike I have had to add about 230ml to keep it at the full mark.

THE QUESTION: If I revert to using dino oil for the next 6,000 miles will it help the engine to seat-in so it stops using so much oil?

are you sure it's burning oil?
I change my own oil, if you don't get the bike exactly vertical etc. you might add a little the next day, to get to the Full mark.
Is the spark plug fouled, from burning oil?

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

It's not leaking so it must be burning it. I have followed Suzuki's oil check method to the letter, especially after QM chastised me in a prior thread . The spark plug shows no sign of fouling.

Not intimidated, just embarrassed for not having read the owner's manual .

I've noticed you're in California, so you're riding in very hot weather?
I did break-in properly since 0 km as QM suggested, using 10W40 semisynthetic oil till 10 000 miles, then switched to Motul 7100 10W40 100% synthetic

I was really really surprised when my Burgie consumed ~200 ml of oil between changes in summer one day. I suppose that because of heat and heavy traffic oil degradates more quickly, so I'm thinking about going to Motul 5100 10W50 semisynthetic. I wish to try 10W50 Full synthetic, but there is no such Motul in our country. Just ask QM, maybe switching grade will help
