Right, I totally understand. However, I believe that the Burgman 200 is quite a bit more bike than the PCX, plus it has ABS brakes, much safer, at least in my opinion! No doubt, 50 more cc's is not much! Good luck in your search. Review of Burgman 200: http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2014/...i-burgman-200/

Well I'm sorry everyone...I struck a deal on a bike but only person I can ask for a truck doesn't want to drive that far and I don't want to drive it back bc I'm not sure on when the last oil change was and if it hasn't been changed just don't see driving it back 150 miles as being a good idea if its old oil, even if it has only 9xx miles...or am I just being paranoid?

Tell the owner that you won't buy the scooter until the oil is changed, then watch him do the job. Does the owner know when the oil was last changed?? 150-mile ride would be a great way to bond with the Burgman.

Does anyone know if oil has ever been changed? If it was, 150 miles makes no difference. Does no harm bc engine is just finishing breaking-in. The oil level is all that matters in this department. However brake fluid should be inspected -- if levers do not feel spongy, again the distance is easily doable for the brakes without damage too. And make sure the battery is charged, and tire pressure and condition checked.

Owner said it was changed less then 60 miles ago. Hoping to find time to check it out later this week, worst part is the 6 hours I'll be spending on the road and trying to find a buyer for my honda pcx which I don't see going well.

Have you considered running ads in Craigslist, in Flint, Lansing etc catoring to students? Sell it to students as an alternative to burning shoe leather. What are you needing to get for your bike? $2k?

Fantasy2c, you have NO PROBLEM with that bike. Just check all the fluid levels to be sure everything looks good. Check the engine oil in the sight glass, the oil should come up to a little higher than midway in the sight glass. New oil you can kinda see through it. Old oil is totally black and you cant see through it. Just be sure it has enough oil in it and you will be fine. Be sure tire pressures are up and correct. Take a test drive on it of at least 4 or 5 miles, be sure the temperature gauge rises to the middle and stays there and not climb higher, listen to the sounds of the engine, CVT, Suspension, to so if anything sounds strange or out of the ordinary. If everything feels good and sounds good then buy it and RIDE it home. A 150 mile RIDE will be a nice ride on your new scooter!
Once home keep a small record book of all the bikes servicing in the glovebox.

I've run ads on facebook on multiple for sale sites..Gotten a few random people liking it, one put a heart, one tagged someone and another asked to trade me it for a car all within about 24 hours...nothing of real interest though yet.. I know craigslist would really help but girlfriend really pushed me away from it because she had some bad luck with using it. Was talking to my fiances uncle and he has an olderish ford cargo van and said I could borrow that, he has ramps as well to get it up. Just not sure if door is going to be tall enough to get the B400 inside the van. Working second shift its hard to find someone who can ride down there with me to drive my car back as most everyone I know works 1st shift
