New windsheild

Well after 3 months and 2 deliveries i finally got my windshield from givi installed. First one i ordered came in broke and they said they will gladly refund my purchase if i returned the broken one or send me a replacement . Well i only paid 90 bucks plus 45 bucks shipping and for me to send it back it would cost me 287 bucks from the post office so i just bit the cist and ordered another one

Wow, that still makes you out $135. Why would have to pay for shipping on an item broken in transit? Wasn't the shipment insured? btw it looks great on your bike; how do you like it?

Well after some high speed motorway riding and lots of noisy buffeting I decided to order the Givi AF266 yesterday although they emailed me today to say it'll be delayed due to Givi UK not having any in stock, next stock from Italy expected to arrive in about 14-35 days.

Just taken a Givi screen off my 650 now weather is milder. At 5'10" found I could just see over top when on lowest position and great looking through screen when up but water/salt impairs vision no benefit regards hand protection in my opinion, likely hang on to it till next winter.

If you are talking about the original poster I believe he has the Givi 266DT.

So I've installed my AF266 screen but just had a few questions to anyone else who has installed one. I was wondering how tight you did up the mounting screws, also did you end up with a small gap between the screen and the bottom rubber panel?

I ride with the same one on my 650 and love it! Helps cut down on the wind to hands. I can tell you during the summer it gets a bit warm!
