Spam spam spam spam spam

Seems that there is too much spam all from new 1 post new members.
A suggestion would be to put new members on post preview.

Mar 2016 3 MC tires in 17500 miles then went Darkside - Federal Formosa FD1 165/60r 14 - now 8000 miles in and finding it far superior to the MC tyre's.

In the last 30 days, over 80 spam posts have been reported, another 70 to 100 have been deleted and banned, before they're reported. That's about a 5 per day average. 10-12 a day during a sports day.

I've reported as many as 3 SPAM
postings in a single day myself.

It is well with my soul.

These spammers may have Malware or other links embedded in their link. But I am betting that everytime someone clicks on one of those links the poster gets paid a small amount.

Great ideas all.
Jim, once again thank you for working on this. As you have stated several times already, blocking IP addresses is a great idea. So my question is: whose decision is it to implement this? Who is holding it up from occurring and can we as members come out in full support to bless this action so that whoever's call it is can get the thing rolling already?

Banning IP addresses is typically a function of the one touch ban and clean tool. It's now turned on.
I've also updated the scanners.
