400 Burgman questions from a new owner
I just made the move from a Honda Silverwing to a used, 2013 Burgman 400 with 2,000 miles. After reading the posts here and talking to some folks, I am still having difficulties with several issues.
1) I need to remove the backrest and I can not find the screws that have been so carefully described by others. There are no screws on the backrest rods and no screws under the seat near the adjustment lever. There is one empty hole there, but all you can see is the foam padding. I am sure I am missing something, but I do not know what it is.
2) I can not figure out how to check the radiator level. I found the little window next to filler cap in the gas cap area, but even though the water level is full, I can not see anything in the little window. Am I doing something wrong?
3) I find it next to impossible to add air to my tires or to check the tire pressure due to the difficulty of reaching the valve stems. Any suggestions or tricks? Has anyone tried a TPMS with any success?
4) The book makes reference to adjusting the rear suspension, but it does not tell you where the little door is to make the adjustment.
Thanks to all for your patience and your guidance.
