Roy Ryall

I received a call from Roy Ryall's sister-in-law today letting me know that Roy had passed away in his sleep. They are not yet sure of the cause, but I suspect it was heart failure. Due to Roy's wishes there are no plans for funeral services. He was my very good friend and he'll be sorely missed.

I am really sorry to hear that one of our forum stalwarts has passed away.

If you have to go thatsa good way of doing it.

By the way Bill, surprised there have been no biters on your 400.

Last year was Duster and this year is Roy, it is sad to see old members leave us. Rest in peace Roy.

I met Roy a couple of months ago. He contacted me through this forum.
I live about 40 miles from where he was staying here in central Florida.
He met up with me and some friends and road with us a few times.
The last time I saw him was Saturday Nov. 19th.
Sorry to hear about his passing. He was a nice guy.

Very sad news. I only knew Roy from his posts and I will miss the vicarious enjoyment of his travels, his deals and his common-sense advice. Like Duster, you could just sense what a good and decent fellow he was. RIP.

Bill - sorry for your loss. But it's nice to see your name again. As NormanB said about Roy, you were one of the stalwarts when I joined the forum in '05. Best to you.

RIP Roy Ryall. Like others, I only knew him from his post here ... and his many travels on his scoots and RV's, I think??. I read many of his post when lurking here and trying to decide on buying my Burgman. Prayers for friends and family.

2016 has been a hard year. Roy is the second riding friend I've lost this year. He was always trying to get me to go out west on the scooters with him. I always figured there'd be time.
You will be missed Roy.
