Transfăgărășan Road in Romānia- Trip Report

Several months ago I posted here about my concerns with renting a BMW motorcycle while in Romania. That lead directly to meeting other Burgman owners in that area. That one post wound up greatly enhancing my experience because I met Foxyrhei. We planned a trip together and we chatted almost everyday about it. He also got tibosee to go with us.

Foxyrhei posted a partial trip report here:
Moldova - Finland (~6000km) 2-up run on B400 - anyone wanna meet?

I put a lot of effort into my album. There are essentially two views. You can scroll the photos in the album view, but you can more details by looking at each photo.

Although almost everything is geolocated in the photo album, I also have a map of the significant locations from the trip:

Even though the album tells the story pretty well, it's not exactly a cohesive narrative. The AMA magazine has expressed interest in publishing my story about the ride in their Guest Column. I'll be submitting in the next week and hopefully it will be accepted. Either way, I'll post the text of the article into this thread later.

Further on this trip report... AMA accepted an article written about my experience there and it's currently available online to members:

And I just got back the framed version of the article this week!

Kory, I just received my June issue and thought, where is my May 2017 issue and then when I found it, there you were on the cover. Thanks.
