Moldova - Finland (~6000km) 2-up run on B400 - anyone wanna meet?

Hello everyone,

Pretty soon I'm starting my August trip to Finland. I'll be riding 2-up with my girlfriend on Burgman 400, so I'm wondering if anyone wanna join or at least meet and drink coffee?

Per current plan only @Colchicine will join part of my route, but maybe there will be any others?

So my plan is:

12 August:
Chisinau - Bucharest (meet @Colchicine ) - ride together to Curtea de Arges (620 km)

13 August
Curtea de Arges - Transfagaras (after passing it I'll be on my own) - Satu Mare (500 km)

14 August
Satu Mare - Bialystok (Romania - Hungary - Slovakia - Poland) (800 km)

15 August
Bialystok - Riga (500 km)

16 August
Riga - Tallinn - Ferry to Helsinki - Tampere (600 km)

I will stay in Tampere for a few days before going back.
Also I will take almost same route back, except from Satu Mare I will ride directly to Chisinau.

So, any meet ups, suggestions for route / must-see places are kindly appreciated.

@farqhuarforever , your Vladivostok - Rome trip was really inspiring and now I afraid less riding such distance in my case

Also you was really impressed by Sweden and Norway sights, but can you suggest any must-see places in Finland that you strongly recommend?

How can you be so sure that you will lose the g/f at that place -- is it August the 13, or Curtea de Arges is like Bermuda Triangle for passengers?

I'd like to tag along for the whole trip!!

I just need you to ship me and my stuff over, and convince my boss to give me 2 weeks of paid leave.

@Burgermanbecks , thanks! I've seen some UK bikes there last year, so maybe you will ride there one day
@Bolzen , there are bears in that area!
@AlaskaGuy , well, you can do as Colchicine and fly to Bucharest and rent a bike! Don't you have paid vacations in US?

Well, that still requires money. And it is not the same if you're not on your own bike (;

Some people (not all) have paid vacations. I do. But I just came back to work after 6 days off. So now I do not have any for a while (;

Well, I did that! 5800 km (3600 miles) in two weeks. That was really really hard for me and my girlfriend, but now I have my memories, photos and country stickers on Burgie

Also I've met @Colchicine (Matt Damon ) from USA and @tibosee from Romania and we did really nice ride through Transfagarasan twisties in Romania. Guys, it was awesome ride and I wish we did it again one day!

Yo Foxyrei, So how many border crossings did you make on your trip? Is it not a big problem? Do you need a visa for each country or just a passport?

Your route map looks very interesting. And someone rode from Vladivostok to Rome!!! Far out!

Let me ride 'til I croak.
