I have been to the Charicahua National Monument and it is very interesting along with the unusual rock formations and the twisties. A lot of history in that part of Arizona with it being the home of Geronimo and Cochise. Bisbee is one of my favorite towns in Arizona and since it is only 9 miles from the border with Mexico, one would think it would be flat desert--Wrong. Bisbee is 5200 feet elevation and the city look like you are stepping back into the late 1800s. Completed in 1902 was the Copper Queen hotel. It still looks much the same and I have stayed there. J.A. Janice, a fictional writer and former school teacher in Bisbee, has written a series of books centered around the Bisbee area. Bisbee is 23 miles from Tombstone. They are both very interesting towns, but Tombstone is very commercial, but a must see. If you are in the SE area of Arizon, try to visit these places.
