Thanks Steve YYZ, I only suspected that traction would be reduced and have been riding accordingly. I am running the Bridgestone Hoops which I assume are seasonal tires. Can somebody correct me if this is not the case. Thanks

I made a winter trip on my Honda PCX. Nice weather, nice temp just above 0C.
Still can't put links in my posts so search Youtube for 0l00d43SlZw video.
And yes, I'm ashamed for mistake in the title. In Polish "charge" an "load" is the same word.

I see no problem driving in cold - it's mostly the clothing and it has to be dry - BUT I really could use a heated visor in my helmet as, even with pinlock, I got frost one the INSIDE while driving in -5C.

I tried once driving on snow on a parking lot (Honda has Heidenau K66 All Season tires) but it's not practical.

I put the Metlzer Feel Free Wintech tires on my scooter. They are supposed to be specifically designed for cold and wet roads, and to warm up quickly in such conditions. May be snake oil, but it's what I have, since I seem to ride almost exclusively on cold and/or wet roads.

They must work, since I am still alive - even without ABS. I have used them as cold as +13F, which is....around -11C.
