Why don't the people that don't like others complaining just let those that don't like this whole password change get the frustration off their chests? I mean seriously, what harm to you is there if people complain about a password reset? You had no problem negotiating the process--well goody for you! People nowadays have to debate other peoples' thoughts just because they always want to play devil's advocate or rile up the pot or whatever.
Look, there are some here who are probably older and likely not as computer literate as you. Respect that! Let them have their say. Only they know the frustration they experienced given their computer skill level, not you. Unless you are a moderator or feel personally offended because you are the owner of this website, don't jump on them. Really man, have we now devolved to the point where we've denied one their right to get something bugging them off their chest without others piling on trying to call him out as a whiner (whinger in UK)?

Because studies show that making you watch an ad and quizzing you on it makes you more likely to remember it and to buy into their crap. It's not about us it's about you buying stuff you don't want or need, lol.

Sounds like the kind of people who like rattling cages and then complain when the animal bites them, lol.

Probably unrelated but annoying.

You could say the same about the people complaining about the complainers (:

Kinda like you're doing right now? (:

People take these things far too seriously (:

One complaint about a website glitch does not equate to a complaint about a real live person. One is impersonal about a situation, one becomes personal. One is an initial complaint, whereas the other is a response that needn't be there but only serves the purpose to, as MJR stated "rattle the cage". If that difference isn't evident then I can't help you. In the past I've been quite defensive about others accusing the tone on here as being less than civil. More and more it's becoming evident, though, that a few grumps have slipped in and want to be contrarian for contrarian's sake and just want to argue no matter what you say. If you say you think this or that, they'll say the opposite just because. Yes they have the freedom to do that, but sometimes it seems as if there can be no other reason for them doing it but to be a jerk. Really. You say yea and they have to say nay. Some poor person isn't as computer literate as you and y'all have to jump down his throat? Make fun of him inferring he's dumb or his "intellectual capacity is breached", etc. Really?

The intellectual capacity cartoon was NOT directed at an particular person, nor was it in support of either the pro or con side of the password issue. It was poking FUN at the whole thread which has become rather silly IMHO. Perhaps you also failed to notice the LMAO at the end.

Garage
since day one when they switched the forum application, I sent a private note to the administrator telling him/her, there were serious security issues about the version they were running. I received zero response. so I am not surprise if the database with all "our" info has gotten stolen and spammers are getting ready to blast their porn our way.
