Found a perfect Fuel Cell.. (for me at least)

I've been searching for a fuel cell for my AN650. And I found one and like it very much. It is a BMW reserve fuel tank and holds 9 liter (2 and 1/2 gallon). Looks like a custom made and fits perfect in the trunk. No smell and no mess. Now I have 300+ mile range.

Looks like a pretty good system. How about including the cost and the place of purchase?

I got it from a local BMW parts store for $85. I'm guessing that you can get one from any BMW dealer as well. Here is one on eBay.
eBay item

DonDee,

The parts store is in N. Hollywood. You can go there and buy one for $85. No tax and no shipping fee.

For others, they charge you flat $20 for the shipping.

I'd say its a unique design Jerry Can. No hook up to anywhere. Entirely manual.

spare gas

Hey,
how hard to run a hose with a petcock that drains into the main? It is right over it! When the dual flashing starts just open the valve, drain in the 9 liters and then close it. use a quick connect from the boating industry, this gives the ease to refill !! Great. Nadam, look me up if you plan on ridding thru AZ. I'll buy you a round. Good research.
