Givi monokey mount

Hello all.....I will be installing the mounting plate on my 650 soon. Any good tips or watch outs anyone could give me? I saw the instruction page online and it's not perfect in details. Looks like a few holes for sure. Thanks in advance and I'll post a pic of this farkle when it's all said and done!

Ordered racks and 22L side cases yesterday so I'm interested as well.

Are you fitting the Givi or the Suzuki plate? I went for the Suzuki plate as thought it looked neater but not sure if the Givi side case mounts are compatable.I believe with both plates you neat kit to fill gap left where backrest went,my dealer fitted mine so can't can't be specific

OK got mine and the install of the rack was not the most fun I've ever had with my boots on. The carrier on the right was not bad but the one on the left was kinda. Hard. Only because their was an extra step to install a bracket not needed on the right. It goes behind a rectifier and its protector plate up behind the left shock. Unless you have a helper or very skinny and long arms with pencil thin fingers, the install will be very frustrating. Took me over an hour and the invention of a rubber tube tool to put the nuts on. The rest of the job was just like the right side. Now that its done, I'm enjoying the cases. They look good and hold a goodly amount of groceries. If you do this, study the pics in the instructions closely because the words are not there. Extra close to the two diagrams showing the bracket on the left side and the reverse direction bolts/nuts that mount it.
Spike out.

The Suzuki plate for the topcase is NOT compatible with the GIVI sidecase mounts. You'll need the GIVI topcase mount.

Well I got the top case mount kit. I'll hit this up after I do Mirek's kit for the diesel noise tomorrow. Expecting a heat wave! But the top case mount doesn't seem so bad now looking at thing more closely. A drill and some patience is all that seems to be in order.
