Cable runs out corner of glovebox when closed, charges at 2 amp.
This is important. Many current smartphones (especially the larger ones) require a charger capable of at least 2A output.

Not all who wander lack GPS.

Yep, you can make a phone from a can and string too but using cheap electric gadgets on a bike can end up being expensive. Buy good quality like Powerlet and look for the best price.

I bought one of these as well. How did you wire it? What route?

power port

Got this one from Auto Zone, it has a waterproof spring loaded door and took about 15 minutes to install. I did have to remove the panel that is part of the two cubby holes above the glove box. Spliced into the existing power port in the glove box, works great

The DC outlet inside the glove box doesn't leave enough room to close the box with a DC adapter plugged in for a GPS. Is there any such product as a right angle DC adapter that would fit inside my Burgie 400 glove box - AND allow me to close it?

Bakeisback, I see that you are using a RAM mount on your brake cylinder top. But how is the USB connected on to that? I see some allen screws that looks like is drilled in to that RAM mount, is that correct?
