Default Givi Box

I was just wondering what size Givi Top Box would work the best on a 2009 650 ex. I need extra room for my gear that i wear when i ride to work. I can't fit everything under the seat. Any imput would be apppreciated.
Thanks
Shelley Burns

Any of the GIVI top cases work on the 650. I have a V46 on mine. Several friends have the 52 on theirs and it looks just fine. I've also seen one with the 55 on it and that case also looks OK.

I have a Givi V46 on my '09 650 Exec.
I also added the Admore run/turn/brake LED light kit - very bright.

Check out these links for pricing.

Be sure and spend a few extra bucks for the lighted version. The lights are at driver level and makes it easier for them to see you. We just can't have enough visibility out there. I have the 52 and wish I had the 55. They're great boxes.

Thanks everybody, this gives me some input on which way to go. I will be getting the extra lights with it, just have to decide what size will work best.

any 39-42 liters will do the job... if you want to treat yourself, go for a 52 liter one, very nice box with copious amounts of storage, almost as big as the under the seat compartment, just shy of 3 liters.

I was fortunate to see Givi cases at a show a little while ago. I had my sights on the V46 which is sharp, but once I saw the E55 Maxia3, I was sold. I was able to place the 46 on the 55,It is larger than the V46, but visually it is minor (it's in the design). The lid stays up on the E55, not on the V46.....LED's on the E55, not on the V46. Both are nice, but I bought the E55 with clear lens, back rest, soft liner inside, black gloss on the sides; but not gloss on the top, which was recommended by the GIVI rep not to go with the gloss lid, because the gloss on top will show the scratches.

I really like my E-55. The only big downside I've seen (from others) is that the stock LED lights aren't as bright as other model of Givi (i.e. - E-52). That can be corrected with aftermarket (admore) or modding the LEDs yourself.

I have the E-55 Givi box on my 650. I did get it with the light kit, but they did not hold up long. Replaced them with the Ad More lights which include running lights and turn signals along with the brake lights. The Givi case is great, the Ad More lights made it even better!
