Owner Manual location

I just bought a 2006 400 Type S. Where is the owner's manual normally stored? The owner said that he didn't have one but I'm hoping it's stored somewhere on the bike he might not have looked at. Does anybody know where the best place to purchase or download a manual? Thanks in advance.

Glovebox, Trunk or the 2 small storage boxes to the left and right of the handle bars are the only 4 choices.

Make that 6 choices, including the 2 small tool pockets on the sides of the trunk. I must admit that I have never tried to hide a manual on the scooter.

It seems rare to buy a used motorcycle these days and get the manual with it. Thanks for the replies. A member posted a few years ago that he had a PDF of a 2006 manual. I'm hoping he will send me one once I have 15 posts and can PM him.

The official, patented manual from Suzuki has great, easy-to-read photos and is high quality. Buying anything else and you will be sorry with the quality, as well as ripping off Suzuki.

2013 AN 650. It has so many features, I've only added a cramp buster. An inch more of seat room would also be nice...

Funny, I've seen the service manual easily available on line but never the regular user manual which is indeed quite useful for the new owner of a bike, certainly more useful than the service manual. Lucky my bike came with one. But if yours didn't, I'd suggest calling your local Suzuki dealer.

Found mine in the front of the trunk.

Release the two tabs and the compartment opens.

I wish that 12string had seen this post weeks ago. He could have saved me a few dollars. After seeing his pictures, I looked at mine and for the first time noticed the compartments at the front of the trunk. Lo and behold, there was my owners manual. Anybody need an owners manual? I have two now.
