Kinda new from Ohio

Hello, I actually joined the forum last September when I purchased my '07 650 from another forum member. Had some difficulties getting user name and password figured out, so just "lurked" on forum until late last week when I got everything in order.
I'm 62 years old and this the second scooter I have owned, the first being an Aprilia Scarabeo 500. Let me tell you there is no comparison between the two. The Burgman is amazing. I have put on about 160,000 miles total, on two Honda Goldwing trikes over the past 10+ years. But boy, is this scooter fun to ride. Have already put on over 3,000 miles since last September and just got back from 2 weeks riding and watching car races in Florida.
I still have my 2005 Goldwing trike and will continue to use it for longer road trips, but I anticipate a lot of local trips on the Burgman. Look forward to learning a lot about the Burgman from this forum.
I live in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Terry Hamman, Welcome, welcome, good to have another experienced rider here. We'll hopefully have a lot of good chats on here.
Insurance business must be good if you could retire at 62. I had to worked till I dropped (thank God I'd didn't drop dead)! But I still got enough life left in me to RIDE. The Scoot makes it easy for me to ride, with my bad legs.

I see that cburgdof is also in Columbus Ohio. I got some friends up there in Columbus. I also hope one day to get up there to the Chief Leatherlips Monument in Dublin, Ohio, just north of Columbus. www.roadsideamerica.com/story/9791

E.D. just spent a couple days two weeks ago in your area riding and watching races at East Bay Speedway in Gibsonton. The hi-lite of the trip was the strawberry short cake at Goodson's Strawberry Farm near Sun City. The traffic around Tampa is crazy. Be safe out there.

Welcome Terry Hamman from Ohio

What I know about Ohio -

"Tin soldiers and Nixon coming,
We're finally on our own ..."

And obviously I need to learn about the "Iron Pony". What would that be? Something you could post a photo of?

Let me ride 'til I croak.
