Hello From MAINE

I had a 2008 650 but had to sell it years ago. Will buy the new 2017 650 white as soon as they hit Maine. None here as of February.

Welcome aboard the forum. Have you lurked long?

What color was your 2008 burgy 650?
Why are you waiting for the 2017 white model? Do they not sell a white for 2016 or earlier?

Guess I can't throw up resounding approbations of the joys of riding since you are a previous owner. I too was a previous owner until this January when I just had to buy another one. I ended up buying a completely similar model\year\color... and almost mileage.

Current Owner:
My 2nd 2005 Blue Burgman 650

Previous owner:
1987 Honda Helix
January 2005 Blue Burgman 650

Since I live in Maine and enjoy riding as long as I can I wanted the heated seats and grips on the 2016/17. Then the 2017 has improved the gas mileage by 15% and I have 5' of snow in the yard I'll wait. Dealer will have my bike in March. Oh the color of my 08 was red.

I take it that the reduced under seat capacity of the 2017 is not an issue for you. I'd go with the '16 just for that but still get the heat options you treasure.

Let me ride 'til I croak.

I didn't realize there was a difference in space under the seat. Hope there is still room for two helmets
