I looked at the website. I didn't see any stators or RR's for Burgmans.

Don't know anything about Electrosport Have bought from these guys and had nothing but good results https://ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/results/ Their prices do look to be a bit higher than Electrosport but still much cheaper than Suzuki wants.

Thanks. I am familiar with them. I was just curious if there was anyone here with first-hand experience with electrosport. Their reviews are all over the map.

Too late for me - I had one delivered to my door today. But the price was right at only $106 (they had 2 left, now 1).

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is sitting in my garage until I install it in the next couple of months. But I was just curious if anyone else had had experience with them.

Thankfully, during my 4 years of Burgman ownership I haven't heard much about these guys. BUT, when I had Vulcan 750's their name came up a lot. The VN750 was known to have stator issues. Then you had to remove the engine to replace the darn thing. Great bikes other than that.

Electrosports was the go to place to get stators. Rick, IIRCC, was the guy most folks dealt with. Pretty high favorable rating for them on cost and reliability. IIRC.

Maybe heard of 1-2 stators going bad on the Burgman in 4 years.?? Thankfully.

More than that have gone bad. I've replaced mine and helped 2 friends replace theirs just here in the greater Dallas area. Luckily it's not to big a job. Don't even have to remove a whole bunch of tupperware to do it. Biggest piece that has to come of is the left rear side panel. That one is a bit of a job because of the fuel filler neck.

Installing on TMAX looks to be a major project.

Looks like all you have to do is remove the plastic off the left side, drain the oil and pull the cover off the left side of the engine. The stator is mounted in the cover.
