I hear'd an Okie weather guy said we might get to upper 70's today. What they know? They've been low by 5 degrees all week now.

Dave_J... loved going thru Auburn, WA. I lived in Sekiu for nearly 2 years. Puttered around the Olympic peninsula and thru seattle and up in to Vancouver during that time. LOVED IT. Summer weather is da'bomb. However, whenever it rains in Seattle... DO NOT be on the streets or highways as Seattle drivers freak the F*** out.

Here in Winterpeg, it can't decide whether to rain or snow. The geese that came back early are getting a complex.

Yep, the Great NorthWet. Last week we had 14 inches of snow and two days ago it was 62 F. Rain fall is about 2 inches higher just for Feb and is currently higher than Norm for March so far. Wonder what "April showers bring May flowers" will be about??? (Bill Cosby routine) DING "Noah, Build me an Ark"

Gee...... now I really feel bad. I thought I had it bad because I couldn't ride tonight because it was getting down to 60 degrees. It's been sunny and 70 today. I spent the day inside watching TV or on the Computer.

Maine is Beautiful

As of today 3/18/2017 I still have 4' of snow and ice in my yard. I'm planning on driving my new 2017 Burgman 650 home next Tuesday from the dealers when it's expected to be 38 deg's. Snow mobiles are all over the place enjoying hopefully the last of this winters playground for them. The roads will be dry and free of snow and ice on Tuesday so I will dress warm, start the Burgman let it warm up turn on the heaters for grips and seat and head out for a 100 mile trip back home. The wife has been told she will have to keep her car out of the garage until I can get my scooter to my toy building out back of the house. I think sometime of how nice it would be to be able to ride year round in some states but then again Maine doesn't have some of the devastating weather conditions found in some states. I will limit my riding to New England and especially Maine from Bar Harbor (Acadia National Park) to Lubec. New Hampshire and Vermont are also on my agenda but will buy a enclosed trailer to haul my Burgie. So ice bound Maine is what it is right now but very soon to thaw and be beautiful for riding bikes. I want to say on thing and hopfully a reminder to anyone reading this that make sure you pay especially attention to your directional signals when you use them. I started riding bikes when I was 18 years old, the first didn't have directionals but the second did. I was riding in another town and put my signals on to take a right turn and forgot to turn them off. Riding down the main road a car was at a stop sign to take a left turn. Yes, he thought I was going to turn into his road so he came out and I hit the front of his car and ended on his windshield. Slight damage to both venhicles and I wasn't hurt just lame for a few days. Just a thought guys, please enjoy your Burgman.
